LUV & HAT began as an argument between friends. In 2010, Stuart Heritage and Robyn Wilder realised that they could not agree on anything; if one person loved something, the other felt obliged to hate it as violently as possible. These arguments were written down, and LUV & HAT was born.
We’ve been many things in our time: a Tumblr blog, a WordPress blog, a live show, a shameless cash-in operation that has produced articles for Time Out, Virgin Media, and xoJane, and a series of Audible audiobooks.
But now we’re here in our newest incarnation: a free podcast. Every other Wednesday we’ll pick a subject and fight about it for you, and you can listen and that’s that.
Oh, and we’re married now. But it isn’t that kind of podcast. It really isn’t. We can’t stress that enough. God no. GOD NO.
About Stuart Heritage
Stuart Heritage co-founded LUV & HAT in 2010. He writes many things for The Guardian and fewer things for Vanity Fair. His first book, a non-fiction fraternal love story entitled DON’T BE A DICK, PETE will be published by Vintage Books in 2017. Unless he fucks it up somehow before then, of course, in which case please disregard this and replace it with ‘STUART HERITAGE LIVES IN A BIN, THE USELESS PRICK’.
About Robyn Wilder
Robyn Wilder co-founded LUV & HAT in 2010. Robyn used to work at BuzzFeed but now spends her time writing a column at The Pool, a smug parenting blog called The Parent Crap, and almost but not quite winning journalism awards. Her book SHUT UP ABOUT YOUR BOOK, STUART won’t be published in 2017, because no one’s asked her to fucking write one, have they.
